mandy: inmates used to be
brought in through the sallyport
here, to be booked in.
but pretty soon, this will be an
entrance into a place to helpeme able to use the laundry
facility.
mandy: it may not look like much
now,
but soon, this old jail will
provide a new life for those who
come here.

we'll put new mattresses on each
one.
mandy: in part of the former
oconee county detention center,
there will be emergency shelter
and a meal, for those without a
home.

it's going to be a nice sitting
area for the individuals, so
that they can lounge at night.

putting in new windows, so that
natural light will be coming
