netanyahu, who doesn't clarify a post. we'll plan for gaza. now we've been reporting on protested from taking place and major cities around the world, but also reports of protests in brooklyn, new york recently, independent journalist k t. smith joins us on the line to describe what's been happening. what can you tell us about developments that are over the past couple of hours? a hi. so the project started very peacefully. they rallied for around 2 hours in the same place. and then when the protesters began march, they took to the street. and within a few minutes of them getting on the street, police rushed into the crowd and grabbed people at random, tackled them to the ground. and then multiple protesters after being tackled were beaten by officers for no apparent reason. and this continues throughout the day for a period of hours where protesters would march in the street get on the sidewalk, briefly get back in the street and then officers would essentially ambush the crowd,
