since then, as i've
said, his tune has
changed dramatically.
in fact, it is now vw‘s
position, stated to us by
mr willis to the committee a short
time ago, that the company has done
nothing wrong in the uk,
or indeed in the rest of europe,
and he told us that
because the company has done nothing
wrong, no compensation is due.
well, this, mr chairman,
is treating the
uk with contempt.
