the driver, a 29—year—old british
citizen, originally from abroad,
was alone in the car.
officers are presently searching
three addresses in the midlands
in connection with the attack.
at around 7:30am, the silver
ford fiesta swerved
into cyclists and pedestrians
outside the houses of parliament,
injuring three people.
the car continued down the road,
then careered off into a side—road
with security barriers.
the car crashed into a barrier
and armed police swooped
onto the vehicle and the suspect.
