scotland's education secretary,
john swinney, will explain today how
he will address problems
with the way school pupils
were awarded grades this year,
in the absence of exams.
the first minister,
nicola sturgeon, has apologised
after the marks given to pupils
were based partly on the past
performance of their schools.
the process meant that 125,000
results were downgraded.
