i wanted to turn the topic to
one other issue because david
brooks wrote something striking
in the new york times this week.
he said we're talking about
media here.
they expected trump to fizzle
because we are not socially
intermingled with supporters and
did not listen carefully enough.
for me, it's a lesson i have to
change the way i do my job if
i'm going to report accurately
on this country.
do you think there's any truth
to that?
is he overstating what's going
on here?
>> trump actually when it comes
to the polls, they certainly
overstate his support.
he has a tiny fraction of
support i think the opponents
for everyone including trump and
everyone are the issue of people
not voting in the primaries.
people have not come out.
how do you inspire them?
