i think this is another example
where the president must think,
oh, look, i can just forge this
relationship, i can make it
work, not understanding that
putin is an enemy of the united
states, is manipulating and has
manipulated u.s. leaders, and
let's find out exactly what they
talked about.
i'm interested to find out
whether the president is going
to get tough with putin for
attacking america during the
campaign.
there is no evidence of that.
the previous president had in
place countermeasures that he
could have used.
instead they are now having, you
know, the two-hour meeting and
then a separate meeting, and the
president's position seems to
be, well, look, he said he
didn't do it, so what am i going
to do, get into a fist fight if
we disagree?
to me that's not good enough.
