just how concerned is riyadh
that the trump administration
seems to be upping the ante
instead of showing any sense of
de-escalation at this point?
>> yeah.
i think there is concern here
because one of the sort of
longer concerns about being so
closely supported of president
trump, but not having knowingly
having a huge amount of
influence over him is that while
saudi arabia and the united
states are aligned at the moment
in their view of iran as a
destabilizing influence
spreading instability throughout
the region, that's certainly
saudi arabia's view and been on
the front line of iran's anger
and attacking the oil refineries
