you want to go to war with
iran, you ought to be compelled
to vote for it, up or down,
vote for or against as a member
of congress.
specifically, this resolution,
s.j. res. 68, requires the
president to, quote, terminate
the use of the united states
armed forces for hostilities
against the islamic republic of
iran or any part of its
government or military unless
explicitly authorized by a
declaration of war or a specific
authorization for the use of
military force, unquote, as
enacted by congress.
