i'm pleased today to be joined by the reverend jeffrey brown who was a member of my kitchen cabinet in massachusetts. that cabinet helped guide my policy and actions that affected the african-american community in particular. i'll look for support wherever there's good will and shared conviction and i'll work with you to help our children attend better schools and help our economy create good jobs with better wages. i can't promise you that i'll agree on every issue, but i do promise that your hospitality to me today will be returned. we will know one another. and we will work to common purpose. i will seek your counsel. and if i'm elected president, and you invite me to next year's convection, i will count it as a privilege and my answer will be yes.
