be willing to give anything on sanctions? >> you hit it right on the nose. the sanctions really do hurt russia. russia could use foreign investment to keep them floating. president putin is facing issues within pensioners within the country and shifts in the agenda on government taking care of pensioners, which is one of the ironclad things all russian and soviet leaders enjoyed popularity whenever they take care of people, their pension ages are much younger than ours. among other difficulties that russia is facing economically. it is still a strong country. it is carrying on all sorts of machinations as he mentioned in ukraine, crimea, syria, and elsewhere, but, yes, to be able to get relief on those sanctions would be a game changer for russia. it certainly propped up their economy. cheryl: in total 700. in the trump administration 200
