we're here at the dam at tahoe
city.
this is the only outflow from
lake tahoe.
and thanks to record inflows
this year, the lake has gone up
nearly six feet since last
october.
that's the highest single-year
increase ever.
it's everywhere you look at lake
tahoe.
water, that is.
the lake is now well above its
natural rim for the first time
in years and still going up.
the comparison to last year is
stunning.
