shooting in east palo alto. bob redell is live at that scene right now with the latest developments going on there. bob. good morning. >> reporter: good morning to you, jon. we just got done speaking with east palo alto police. they are getting ready to clear the scene. the shooting took place on the 2,500 block of gloria way. you see that silver suv right there. on the other side is where a man was shot and killed around 11:44 last night. they're so precise on the time is because they found out about this through shot spotter technology. that's the technology set up here in east palo alto where you've got microphones that are able to triangulate the shots, according to the technology indicated there were nine shots fired, police were on the scene within one minute. they describe a scene of a lot of people out front with a man on the ground, shot several times very hysterical people while the man was somewhat responsive. they took him to sanford hospital where he died about 30 minutes...
