i'm diane dewire. >> i'm terry mcsweeney. we're following several stories in the bay area. thousands are gathering in golden gate park for what has become an annual celebration for marijuana smokers. this year there's a larger police presence at the gathering because last year many people complained because of the traffic, the fighting, and some underage drinking. tons of garbage left behind and it cost the city $15,000 to left it up. today's date 4/20 which used to be police code for marijuana smoking in progress has had a special significance for the pot communities since the last '70s.
