well, this morning angelina
jolie is revealing a new chapter
in her struggle to prevent
cancer.
in a "new york times" op-ed, the
oscar-winning actress says she
had her ovaries and fallapian
tubes removed.
two years ago she had a double
mastectomy.
since sheen she's promised to
reveal details of any other
procedures she's had.
she wrote, quote, it is not
possible to remove all risk, and
the fact is i remain prone to
cancer.
she said i know my children will
never have to say mom died of
ovarian cancer.
jolie says before that 2013
surgery, she had an 87% risk of
breast cancer and a 50% risk of
ovarian cancer.
her mother, grandmother and aunt
all died of cancer.
