early this morning harvey
strengthened into a category 2
storm with sustained winds of
105 miles per hour.
the eye of harvey is expected to
make a landfall about 70 miles
northeast of corpus christi late
tonight or early tomorrow.
for the millions of people in
its path, it poses a grave risk
with the potential of up to
three feet of rain and 12-foot
storm surges.
to make matters worse, harvey is
going nowhere fast.
mandatory evacuations have been
ordered from corpus christi to
galveston.
