the washington post said it
reviewed more than 160-thousands
emails and instant message
conversations, and another 8,000
documents that were collected
between 2009 and 2012.
the paper says "ordinary
internet users, american and

outnumber legally targeted
foreigners in the communications
intercepted by the national
security agency."
the paper reports that nearly
half of the files contained
details that the nsa identified
as being from us citizens or
residents.
the report also found that some
of the communications captured
by the nsa did contain
significant intelligence value,
