they also noted part of the
reason this theory has some
appeal is if you think that the
earth is not very old.
i mean, i'm not bill nye the
science guy, but if you are a
creationist, if you believe
there is nothing actually old on
earth, that god created all of
us including the dinosaurs just
a couple thousand years ago,
then really if you think the
earth is only a couple thousand
years old, then there's no room
in that world view for
understanding where oil came
from.

derives from things that are
millions of years old.
