congressman jim clyburn of south
carolina.
he's majority whip of the house
of representatives.
congressman, the leadership in
the house which you are clearly
a central part of, took its time
to move toward impeachment
inquiry and now it appears that
it has started and the official
vote has gone down, it's going
into public hearings.
and it has half of the american
public, according to polls,
supporting impeachment and in
the same cases, i read, removal
from office.
this painstaking time that many
of us felt to go this far in the
quarters that you are in, was it
the right strategy, do you feel
vindicated that the democrats
took their time?
what was going on, because there
were many pushing, including me,
that you guys should go forward
and you took your time.
