representative? >> i'm miranda martin, a new p.a.c. member. i have two children at grotten elementary school. >> my time is vatina. >> we spent our first couple of meetings talking about board priorities and our priorities as a p.a.c. we've had an opportunity to speak with deputy superintendent richard grunsa and to hear from board commissioners hydra mendoza and sandy fewer and we've also heard from sfusd staff and we're really glad to see that the district is focusing on setting clear and consistent standards across the district for students and that there is a focus on high expectations for all of our children. we know that that's a really important priority for families across the district. we also believe that the district's focus on core curriculum is a good step and we're interested to see how that's going to be implemented
