minnesota avenue/18th street. darcy spencer has more. and where police are turning in their search for the gunman. >> reporter: d.c. police told me the woman stepped on to this metro bus when she was shot several times. she had a baby in her arms. d.c. police tell me a woman in her 20s was shot and killed after boarding a metro bus in southeast d.c., sunday afternoon. police believe she was holding her daughter, the little girl, under 3-year-old was also injured, possibly grazed by a bullet. police took pictures of a pink umbrella stroller near the shooting scene. >> the woman appeared targeted and was hit multiple time. >> the woman was shot, 5:30 at 18th and minnesota. the bus driver drove a block and stopped and called 911. this man said he heard about four shots. >> i just ran out here. see what was going on. i went over there. and saw that body laying on the bus. had the little baby. somebody was holding the baby. a lot of blood on the baby.
