lets the state drug test
welfare recipients.
governor rick scott says it's
about not wasting taxpayer
dollars.
>> our taxpayers are not
interested in subsidizing drug
addiction.
it's no different if you apply
for a job, they aren't saying
you use drugs, in that work
environment, they don't want
you to use drugs.
in this case, we don't want to
subsidize drug addiction.
we give increased -- it's
better for our families and it
doesn't waste taxpayer money.
>> welfare recipients will
have to pay for their own
testing.
is this the kind of testing
that the violation of civil
liberties or a viable way to
keep costs down?
and what about the children of
welfare recipients who may or
may not test positive?
should they be held accountable
for their parent's actions?
