it's been a few years in a row the stocks have outperformed by a good amount. we think there are some opportunities out there. we think you need to be selective. there's a few areas where we think there are tailwinds to help us along. one is the housing market and spending on housing. if you look at residential investment as a percentage of gdp, or as a percentage of disposable income, we're still way below normal levels. and if you think about coming out of the housing crisis, there's still -- there's an aging inventory of homes, which means lots of deferred projects and deferred maintenance. a lot of catch-up spending that needs to happen there. so we think we have a few years left of a nice tailwind in spending on the home, and home depot is the preferred way. >> i was going to say, i hear you laying out a fairly bullish case for housing, not from a builder's standpoint, but a maintenance. home depot over lowe's would be your choice? >> we prefer home depot over lowe's. if i'm right about the macro setup, they're both going to be good stocks, but from a compe
