let's get started with abc 7 news with meteorologist. >> i want to show you live doppler 7 right now, and you will notice the focus of the rain is still in the south bay. a short time ago it was in that area, and right now the downpours from santa clara to san jose, and tully road, we are seeing light to moderate rain. as we head into the ineast some steady rain. other parts of the east bay you'll notice we are seeing some scattered showers from danville to san ramone, danville boulevard. in the north bay the colder air is filtering in, and it's a mix of precipitation in the hills as indicated by the mixed colors. we take a look at the northern mountains, the sierra nevada and we have much needed snow. gusty winds, 20 to 40 miles an hour, and the snow level lowering. by tomorrow it'll be about 2,000 feet. and still pretty gusty. mount tam 21 miles an hour. mount tam has picked up over a half an inch of rain. other parts of the bay area ranging from about 0.05 to a quarter of an inch. >>> president trump put syria and russia on notice today saying missiles that are fired at syria will
