that the man who knows the whereabouts of carlesha gaither spent quite a bit of time here in aberdeen marylandhis morning, only 70 miles south of philadelphia. we have some surveillance video that is just in. this is from a nearby gas station here in aberdeen this morning. the pictures are the clearest police have seen yet. they are hoping someone will recognize this man. he is now being called a person of interest. investigators know that this man used an atm at the pnc bank here in aberdeen, maryland. he used carlesha's atm card and withdrew money. it was minutes later that he was spotted inside this gas station. we do have surveillance photos from inside the pnc where you can see the man spending a few moments in front of the atm. then you see him in the surveillance video from this gas station clearly walking around the store. this is has given investigators hope. it is their best look yet at a man they believe knows exactly where carlesha is. they are making a plea to the public tonight to take a good look at this video and if you recognize him, police are asking that you immediately dial

now investigators have focused their search in aberdeen, maryland. they believe this man on video is the same person who used her atm card a short time earlier. nbc 10's monique braxton has been speaking to family members and asking them if they think someone could have come to philadelphia from baltimore to abduct carlesha. monique, tell us what they told you. >> reporter: they told us they don't know. they aren't sure at this point. i can tell you, since we last spoke 30 minutes ago, a federal agent and philadelphia detectives have arrived, many in unmarked cars like the one you see here. our camera captured this video of the agent along with four detectives arriving here. i spoke with the lead investigator on the case. he tells us they are reinterviewing the mother and relatives of carlesha. sources say some stories just aren't adding up. i spoke to freeland-gaither about her daughter's disappearance prior to police arriving. you don't have any reason to believe someone was after her that you knew of it? >> no. no. >> reporter: not at all? okay. y

right now about this time, taken down in aberdeen, maryland. going right to it, they analyze the gas station convenience store surveillance of this man using her debit cards for drinks, smacks, leaving electronic trail of evidence, and leading the fbi down the maryland, that 74 miles away, south of philly, an hour 20 drive down 95. that puts him at the gas station, and moments before, at pnc bank atm machine right across the parking lot from the gas station, making cash withdrawal, nine hours after carlesha was kidnapped sunday night here in philly. not only put out by police or the fbi, yet, if they have it, any outside the station video, where there are even more surveillance cameras, that would likely show what car the guy came in, and maybe who else is in that car. like a second man maybe holding carlesha hostage. because she is likely still with them at the pnc bank machine detectives theorize, because they would need to get her pin number to use her card here and would want her nearby in case she didn't give them the correct number, contin
