i was interested that in the activision blizzard side which from a stock perspective, maybe people may be less interested in them, but when it comes to mobile gaming on their side, of course, they have the king business, which includes candy crush. that did really well actually. people still crushing candy ten years in so it's a little bit of an outlier in the overall casual gaming, mobile gaming space. there really is this question as consumer spending slows down overall, how is that going to affect the in-game economies and how is that going to affect the in-game advertising market as we see overall digital advertising kind of taking a dive. >> yeah, and in the case of mobile, it's so easy to switch on and off that spend. let's stick with gaming. we have been talking about a mixed picture on the heels of the earnings joining us now, oppenheimer analyst martin yang. let's start where jon just left off in terms of the mobile picture. king's candy crush doing well, but zengo was a real sore spot for take-two >> yeah, so when you compare ze nrb the key difference is king benefits from a

in coming up, activision blizzard is gaining some fans.hy some analysts raising their recommendation despite concerns over microsoft's deal for a takeover. this is bloomberg. ♪ caroline: so, activision blizzard has gained fans on the street, as a flurry of analysts raise recommendations on the stock, even as microsoft's planned acquisition looks more and more dicey. bloomberg's yiqin shen is joining us now. just talk to us about what you're reporting is showing. first and foremost, what are the odds this deal actually goes through? yiqin: sure, yeah. i am hearing from merger traders as they see the deal is probably happening roughly 40% or 50% of going through. it is pretty dicey. but interestingly among wall street analysts, they are boosting their rating on activision, the stock itself. mainly for two reasons, i won't say. first there is the strong fundamental value. second, the very attractive risk reward profile, given the microsoft situation. activision is in the process of being acquired by microsoft for $69 billion. that is a huge d

federal trade commission is set to file an antitrust suit to block microsoft's takeover of activision the suit could be filed next month. the spokesman for microsoft says the company is ready to address the concerns. paul: we are a few minutes away from the open in korea and japan. what are you watching? >> taking a look at the inflation numbers that came out from tokyo earlier. inflation accelerating in the capital at its fastest pace in 40 years. that tells us it's a leading indicator we are set to see inflation pressures accelerating across the country later this month. in terms of economic outlook, bloomberg economics has no note out this morning saying inflation is going to be something weighing on the growth picture as we head into next year. you can add to that the expectation that is building for a u.s. recession that will dampen the outlook exports. what that means for the bank of japan is that it's likely to keep its easy policy settings in place. to look at the flipside, what has been interesting is we are continuing to see more buying into japanese stocks off of these easy
