for now, back to julie and adria. >> the storm moved out. the ice and the snow are still on many local roadways, both slick and treacherous. john is headed to maryland. he joins us live. what are the conditions like? >> good morning. i cannot begin to tell you how treacherous it is out here. my photographer and i have been walking around and it is very slick on these roads and sidewalks. this is right off of maryland avenue. take a look. this is the middle of the roadway. you can see how the plows came through and they just were not able to clean everything because it is so rockhard at this point and icy. hard/ly do you have the and road -- the hard slush and snow on the roadways, this is all ice. i cannot begin to tell you how dangerous it is right now to be walking on this. i am trying not to fall myself. if you look at the main thoroughfares, this is maryland avenue. one of the main thoroughfares that goes into the heart of downtown rockville. that is not completely clear. we can see some residue, some snow and ice as well. the point here
