what other advice would you give us? what other requests would you make of the united states, of the u.s. government? >> look, there are weapons -- because again, i don't think the weapons alone can solve the problem. the major problem is that there is no reconciliation in the country. if there's reconciliation, maybe we need weapons but the weapon we need maybe much less than we need them. do not neglect the other aspect. because until i think an inclusive government, fair and sharing of power in this government. and include, you know, the presence of all the components, and the security decision and the security organization is a must. now, the whole security issue is linked to one party, and this should stop. and there should be an organization which runs the security department, not a party. your president is the command general of the army, isn't spent commander-in-chief, yes. >> but he does not make the decision alone. there are organizations to tell him, okay, this should be done. we need to tell our organization.

what is your advice for them? >> sure. when you work with these companies all the time, i'd say the number-one rule for any of the established companies is always start with empathy, right? you want -- you've got a technology that you're so in love with, you want to bring to the world, don't start with the technology. start with humans. what do humans need that our technology might be able to help with? if you start up -- if technology was everything, we'd all have robotic dogs, we'd all have ridenour segways to the -- ridden our cell genesys ways to the studios. >> how long have you worked in the valley? >> 25 years. >> do you feel it's more creative and empathetic than in the past? >> yeah. i think if you go back in the deep history of the valley, it was tech centered. now i think the idea of design, the idea of starting with empathy and figuring out what humans need and what -- and how you can address those needs, i think it's pretty rampant. >> a consumer boom or because people have just learned lessons? >> i think bec
