ktvu fox 2 alex savidge is joining us live to tell us what we know about that victims condition. good morning, alex. >> reporter: that victim was rushed over to san francisco general hospital last night with life threatening injuries. according to police. they were struck by a car here at the intersection of eighth and market streets. and this crash happened just about 10:30 last night as police were tailing a blue bmw with at least one suspected robber inside. now after that car that was trying to get away hit the pedestrian, the driver sped off with officers in pursuit. one of our cameras captured this chase as police pursued the car all the way across the bay bridge into oakland but that is where officers lost sight of the bmw near the maze. they are still searching for that car and the people inside. this turned out to be the second police pursuit in san francisco this week. on monday you may remember police arrested a wanted employee near fifth and mission. it was a dramatic end to a dangerous chase that began in the bay view. the car being pursued got wedged between two othe

alex savidge is out there. he's seen a lot. stay tuned and drive careful. it's wednesday, jub 3rd. i'm -- june 3rd. i'm dave clark. let's talk about the forecast. >>> a loot going on today. today is okay, though. 50s, 60s by the coast. os, a few 8 -- 70s, a few 80s inland. low clouds not as extensive. mostly sunny here but the system coming in tonight and tomorrow will cloud us up. we're going to see measurable drizzle late tonight and tomorrow. had a two-day break from that. there is the system. looks pretty good. it is. it will continue to pick up the fog bank and the low will settle right over the bay area and then eventually end up in southern california and stick around for a few days. that spin in the atmosphere. look for the cooldown. a few 60s. but temperatures will be hard pressed to get above average. there is a decent delta breeze. the water temps cooled off a couple of degrees. that's helping in the pattern. there's one low. that will cloud us up tonight and tomorrow. already a category 4 hurricane,

alex savidge is the at scene now. what have you been able to find out? >> reporter: the information quite limited this morning. but we do know violent crimes detectives with the sheriffs office are investigating the circumstances surrounding this death. the victim was found inside this home behind us here which is on pueblo avenue just off of napa road on the south side of sonoma. the home still has crime scene tape around it. this morning more evidence to gather inside apparently. the victim discovered just before midnight when fire crews were called out here and there apparently were several other people inside this home at the time that 911 calls were made. now sonoma police work to secure the scene along with city know ma'am county sheriffs deputies as well. investigators are characterizing this as a suspicious death although they won't say exactly what has led them to that conclusion. we have been told no one is currently in custody with this investigation. i talked this morning with a spokesperson with the sonoma county sheriffs office. that is all
