be, and i wanted to show you we have some winter weather advisories posted to the west, including allegheny county and garrett, for a combination of snow and sleet before it changes to rain in the mountains, where they've already had some snow. so a little fresh coating to continue. it is possible that in some other spotty areas, maybe along and either side of interstate 81, you could have a touch of snow or sleet or an outside chance of freezing rain. the profile doesn't really look like one that would feature freezing rain so much, but check out these temperatures. it's already down to 32 degrees in places like cumberland and martinsburg, and frederick, you're already down. timing will be important. we expect our temperatures to drop to about 27, 28 degrees in the northern and western suburbs, so that's where we'd have to watch. for most of us, i don't see it getting here until about 9:00 or so, and hopefully by then, everybody is above freezing. we'll continue to watch this, check the new information and make sure we don't have to twea. >> all right, sue. remember, you can track the wint

i think of youngsters like a little girl named chloe kondrich of allegheny county. i have known chloe since she was three years old. i know her mother, her father and her grandparents. in fact, some of you may know her grandfather, ted kondrich, who served in the house of representatives from 1989-1990. i visited with chloe this past wednesday.and earlier today in my office. she is a bright 9-year-old who takes theater classes, plays baseball, and is in fourth grade at eisenhower elementary school. one other thing about chloe: she was born with down syndrome. right now, she can expect the aid and support of our many programs for children as well as the love of her parents. chloe has a wonderful life. she adores her brother, nolan, and he adores her. along with the love of her family, chloe receives the benefits the state has in place for children with special needs. as her dad says, "you want your kids to be healthy and happy, and safe and productive members of the community. she's on track to do all that." but eventually, chloe will become a young adult and "age ou
