the scene is on fulton street in allentown where jenny joyce is on this breaking story and she joins us with what we know at the this early hour, jenny, good morning. >> good morning. as you mentioned fire started around 8:00 o'clock, it was not placed under control until just before 1:00 this morning. fire crews remain on the scene. we know they were still putting out hot spots, and, right now we know at least seven families are without homes after this three alarm fire ripped through multiple units the here on the 400 block of fultthan treat overnight, the fire broke out around 8:00 p.m., according to allentown fire department. six homes on the the block have major fire damage, and two more have smoke and water damage, and a handful of red cross volunteers has been on the scene, working with families who lost everything, last night, so fortunate thely the fire chief is reporting there were no injuries. the cause of the fire remains under investigation. we do know that the fire department plans to be out here, on the scene, and still at least the sun comes out, continuing to douse t
