the allentown mayor is indicted as part of the federal investigation into allentown city hall. it's a story we broke this afternoon on nbc 10 news at 4:00. >> the mayor says he's not sure what the indictment is what and will kmont comment tomorrow. but i'll not be stopping down or. dropping out of the campaign. you can speak to my attorney if you have any further questions. his attorney confirmed the indictment. they are investigating a pay to play scheme. he gave out city contracts in exchange for contributions to his campaign. two years ago, fbi agents raided allentown city hall. since then, seven people have pled various charges in this case. none of their doimts named him, but they implicated a name with a prescription that could only be him. let's break down the time line of this investigation. july 2015, federal agents raided city hall and mayor's home. those seven people pleaded guilty in the case. in january 201 allentown city council votes no confidence in mayor. calls for 4i78 him to resign. then january 2017 had announced he was running for a a fourth term in office
