allyson rae joins us with the first alert forecast. >> the weather holding up for noun and gorgeous out and feels like summer. sunshine and great temperatures in southwesterly winds set the stage for storms to develop later on today. and ones that develop have potential to be stronger. hazy sky and up to 81 degrees and winds gusting from the west. a few showers popping up midmorning through early afternoon. we active weather for the midsection of the country. under the yellow area which is slight risk for severe weather. it includes baltimore this morning and then expands to ask -- to include washington areas north and west. threat of strong winds and small hail possible. not everyone will see a strong storm and some might stay completely dry but the storms that develop this afternoon and evening have potential. we are tracking hour by hour and a lot of discrepancies in the models but i'll show you two different ones coming up later. 81 degrees now and in the 70s north and west. further south warming up fast in the upper 70s and lower 80s. we will go through this so you can pinpoint you
