i'm ama daetz. >> and i'm dan ashley. thanks for joining us. it may be clear, but now the temperature is really starting to drop in some parts of the bay area. >> that's right. meteorologist andy patel joins us now with who's going to be under a freeze warning sandhya. >> yeah, and it's ama and dan. the north bay valleys as temperatures have already started to drop. so let's take a look at a live picture right now from our mount tam cam. just a sparkling view of the city by the bay as skies have cleared out. we're looking at temperatures in the 40s and 50s right now from san francisco to san jose, 43 degrees in livermore, north bay is where some of the colder readings are. 39 right now in santa rosa and napa, 36 degrees in calistoga. you can see why they issued a freeze warning that begins shortly here at midnight. runs until 9 a.m. tomorrow. temperatures as low as 28 degrees. frost and freeze will cause damage to any tender plants. so make sure you protect them. also, bring in your pets. and don't forget about wrapping any pipes, water pipes o

i'm ama daetz. >> and i'm dan ashley. thanks for joining us. it may be clear, but now the temperature is really starting to drop in some parts of the bay area. >> that's right. meteorologist andy patel joins us now with who's going to be under a freeze warning sandhya. >> yeah, and it's ama and dan. the north bay valleys as temperatures have already started to drop. so let's take a look at a live picture right now from our mount tam cam. just a sparkling view of the city by the bay as skies have cleared out. we're looking at temperatures in the 40s and 50s right now from san francisco to san jose, 43 degrees in livermore, north bay is where some of the colder readings are. 39 right now in santa rosa and napa, 36 degrees in calistoga. you can see why they issued a freeze warning that begins shortly here at midnight. runs until 9 a.m. tomorrow. temperatures as low as 28 degrees. frost and freeze will cause damage to any tender plants. so make sure you protect them. also, bring in your pets. and don't forget about wrapping any pipes, water pipes o
