amelia draper joins us with a oser look at the warming trend. out there today to enjoy the warmth. surst check out the old records out there today v the new records. we set record high temperatures today atna reagan nat as well as dulles. the old record at dulles also coming in at 70. that got me thinking, i went back andmperures we sethe going to 2000. this could mean record warm days, record cold rdays,ord cold nights or record warm nights. so i lookedt temperatures in general. since 2000 we have set overmp 2 ature records. now here's the thing. looking at the temperature records, less than 10% of them were cold temperature records. theity of them were record warm days or record warm nights and by fa i noticed the biggest increase in our record warm nights out there. so anothere thing that w seeing from this is our seasons are shifting. i know a lot of you guys talk about this on facebook and twitter. we're getting longerummers and winter is getting shorter. and here we see that winter to summer and don't have any spring. our temperatures are
