in concord, amy coveno oh, wmur news 9. jennifer an accident is under investigation in effingham involving a fire engine that flipped vup side down. the fire chief was alone in the vehicle when he lost control on 153. the truck hit a utility pole and rolled onto its roof, with the utility pole on top of it. the chief suffered just minor injuries. the road was closed as wreckers worked to flip the truck back over. tom: police say slippery road conditions led to a deadly crash in hampstead, laurie dawes' car she got out to call for help, when an s.u.v. driven by a 17-year-old came down the road, lost control, and hit dow. no charges have been filed. jennifer: the body of john connell was found inside of the church in grafton, he died of smoke inhalation. connell had been living there and in recent years had turned the building over to the peaceful assembly board of directors in homes of making it a legitimate church. the pastor who preached in the church right up until connell bought it said the fire is devastating. >> i was

i'm amy coveno. the snow has stopped and now the cleanup is underway and new york saw its second largest snowfall since 1869 and other places saw more than that. traffic on the roads and in the air, across the region, came to a standstill. new hampshire missed out on any snow from the storm. meteorologist josh judge joins us in the weather center with a look at what's left of the weekend forecast. josh: hi, yeah, it stayed completely to the south except for a couple of exceptions near the new hampshire-mass border and that's it. in northern, western new hampshire, below zero, and in the teens and single digits elsewhere as you can see right there. let's take a look in the southeastern border of mass and new hampshire, watch this, there's a little bit of snow that made it over the border and the storm came very close to new hampshire, but making virtually no impact except some extra wind last night and it will be breezy today. here is a look at the storm as it pulled away and it's still pulling away.

amy coveno, wmur news 9. jean: right now investigators are working to find the cause of a deadly fire in grafton. a man's body was found inside a historic church yesterday. wmur's heather hamel is live now with the new developments. reporter: towns people say the man who lived there, john connell, had been holding some church services there over the years but the town says it wasn't a legitimate church and in recent days they had had had building. a fixture in grafton for more than 200 years destroyed by fire. >> the fact that it will always be there, of course nothing is permanent. reporter: the church on route 4 is now the scene of an intense investigation. >> the medical examiner was able to identify our male victim, his name was john connell. he was the pastor here and he also lived here. reporter: investigators aren't saying where the fire started or out. connell bought the church in 2010, according to town officials, who say he filed paperwork to make it a church. but when it didn't meet the criteria, h
