the anacostia trail in northeast d.c. police say wednesday morning, a man on a bicycle shot and killed 37-year-old victor williams and his puppy. williams had been walking with two of his dogs. he was a professional dog trainer. a vigil for him was held last night. police don't know police don't know whether this was a random crime.. or whether williams was targeted. they're still searching for a motive. they have only a vague description of the suspect. an update this morning. a terminally ill maryland woman is back home in beltsville, thanks to the help of strangers.
