andrea fujii is live on this story. good morning, andrea. >> reporter: good morning, don and everyone. the drive teams will be back this morning looking for the man's body. the boat was going fast before it crashed. dive teams in pennsylvania are searching the lake for a missing-year-old man -- for a missing 50-year-old man. >> we were like, wow, that boat is flying by and then, the boat rolled, 15 feet off of the water. we rushed over to the scene. i had two other guys jump in the water with me. >> reporter: the witnesses rescued two other people. >> the lady and the two boys were breathing and everything. i asked the mother of the one boy, is there anyone else on the boat and she said yes, her brother. >> reporter: the boys were both teens. >> i stayed out with the boat sinking and i went in the boat and couldn't find him. >> reporter: the rescuers will use sonar technology. the water is 100 feet deep. >>> several city civil war reenactors are hospitalized after a thunderstorm hit their camp site. they'll all survive.

lands down is one and andrea fujii is there live now. >> reporter: good morning, i'm standing on top of someone's roof that blew off last night. i spoke with a neighbor. he saw, last night, these two suvs fly up because of the wind. someone else' roof flew underneath. the storm came through fast and hit hard. it left a path of destruction through central maryland. trees and power lines were ripped down and shingles littered parking lots. it was a lot of rain and it got loud. the next thing you know, it was commotion. >> reporter: it was the same scene in dundalk. residents say they were blind sited. >> it was nice and sunny, then it was windy and dark and all hail broke loose. it was small hail. >> reporter: a massive tree was topple and lightning was the culprit. the storm system was isolated. some had to abandon their homes. >> i rented a bed and i heard a boom. they said it could have been a tornado. the roof claim flying into the window. my son, he dug us out. >> reporter: live in lands down, here's another home badly damaged. 20 families in lansdowne and dundalk had to evacuate

. >>> good evening, i'm andrea fujii, adam may is off, the howard county woman is assumed dead tonight. police found a body near her georgia apartment where she just graduated from law school. pat warren has more. >> reporter: that is right, the body was found use the apartment building where she lived. police say they have two persons of interest in custody. the georgia police believe they found the body of 27-year-old lauren giddings, but say they can't be sure it is the body. >> it is the homicide victim. >> reporter: she graduated earlier this year. the laurel, maryland native was reported missing, a local person was a person of interest in the case, he said he searched for her. >> we went in, there was no sign of a struggle or that anybody had broken in. just nothing, just she was gone. all of her stuff was there, her id was there, her wallet was there, but she -- she was just gone. >> reporter: police released no information about the cause of death but have included a search of a nearby landfall in their investigation. the neighbor says he saw something on her computer. >> she s

andrea fujii has more. >> reporter: good morning, once again don and everyone. the violence includes a little boy shot and a man stabbed to death. the police are coming through the surveillance video trying to match the faces to crimes. minutes after the celebratory fireworks stopped, two separate incidents sent the police scrambling. first, a man was stabbed in the neck in the 700 block of eastern avenue. he died hours ago. then, across the way, at pratt and light street, a 4-year-old was shot in the leg with his parents standing next to him. he's in stable condition. earlier in the night, the police rushed to break up a fight near the visitor's center. the violence came hours after the police commissioner expressed confidence that his several hundred officers would be on top of the situation keeping the visitors safe. you'll see many, many, many uniformed police officers. >> reporter: still, he said he was worried about what might happen. >> that's one of the concerns. because, you know, after 9:30 and the fireworks are over, the event is over. we wanted peopl
