anne makovec has the latest on this tragic accident, and anne, what do we know about what led up to this crash? >> we know it was dark out and the family was not in a marked crosswalk. it is under investigation. police said the driver who hit them is cooperating with officers. the three were hit by a man driving a chevy tahoe 11: 30 last night on king road in east san jose. police say the baby was killed was less than three months old. the other little girl who was hurt along with her mother is under the age of five. no update on their condition but they are expected to survive. investigators say neither alcohol or drugs nor speed were factors in the crash. >> this is a very traumatic incident but we hope that the positive outcome to this is that people take care as they drive on the roadways. they follow the rules of the road. pedestrians need to be aware of crosswalks, went across, when not to cross. >> so tragic. anne, thanks so much. >>> within the last few hours, san francisco police announcing an arrest in a carjacking that is getting a lot of attention. in this viral video you see
