wagner joins us live from the scene of the crime. paul. >> reporter: hey, tone, into yeah, the last time anyone saw 17-year-old debra anne brooks was whenhe left for that store that night in the brookland neighborhood of northeast. she went to a people's drugstore. she was going to fill a prescription. and the only way investigators and her family knew that there had been foul play is they found a bag, a bloody bag with that prescription inside. and that bag had to be handed to her mother, by her brother. we talked to her brother earlier today. >> i remember walki walking inte place where she worked and her looking at me with these sunken eyes saying did you find your sister? and i couldn't say anything. i just handed her and her heart -- i just saw her heart just sink and she fell to her knees and just started crying. >> reporter: paul brooks was just 16 years old when his sister, debra, was killed. the family learning just a few days later that her body was found lying face up along this dirt road under a pile of dry wall. she was not sexually assaulted and for years detectives have been trying to learn the motive. they have interview
