in the city of antioch. we're not taking our foot off the pedal. we're going to continue with these reform efforts. as long as i'm the mayor, we're excited and grateful for the opportunity to work directly with the department of justice. and tap its resources. the antioch police department has been under a spotlight since the death of angelo quinto. back in december. he died after officers restrained him during a mental health crisis. we've now learned what killed the family while they were hiking in the sierra national forest. the finding comes two months after their deaths. as ktvu christina brindle reports, the couple and their baby died of hypothermia and dehydration. because of the heat. this is again at. an unfortunate and tragic event due to the weather. mariposa county sheriff jeremy breece says hypothermia and probable dehydration led to the deaths of jonathan gear ish ellen chong and their one year old daughter, meizhou. this sheriff says the family dog likely also died due to heat related issues. hypothermia is when the body produces too
