justin andrews joins us live from outside suter health in antioch. >> reporter: good morning. already this morning we are hearing chants and seeing the signs. take a listen. they say this is about patient care this morning. these workers, it's about more than two dozen of them, out here demanding better working conditions. video we shot this morning shows this group marching from the doors of suter hospital in antioch, some with scrubs and uniforms on. over the next five days they expect about 350 workers to be participating. they say they want better working conditions, are worried for patient and staff safety and conditions are dire in the facility as they say management continues ignoring concerns. one guy just shouted "enough is enough." one er tech said they're drowning. >> we are striking because it is about patient safety. we are under staffed. we are overwhelmed. it's just not safe. that's the reason we are out here so early. we want to get the message out to make things right for us, for the community, for the patients. >> reporter: suter health also responding. they
