in the midwest who keep getting caught with maggots all over their kitchens it's a company called aramark correctional services last fall and winter they scored over two hundred fifty million dollars in contracts to feed prisoners in ohio and michigan both of those states privatized prison or food relatively recently and it's been a mess ever since there have been at least ten confirmed cases of maggots found wriggling on aramark food service or product lines and that's just a number of times they got caught in base that one of the prisons are so sick of the maggot problem that they all dumped out there's food in protest recently aramark have gotten a ton of fines from both states to the maggots and for a host of other problems for instance in michigan about twenty five percent of the contractors workforce has been banned from prison property for things like showing up drunk and failing to pass rush alive there's smuggling drugs into prisoners threatening to assault prisoners and also kissing prisoners all of these infractions have happened in only a few months mind you there are also mor
