nbc's hallie jackson and kelly o'donnell along with msnbc chief legal correspondent ari melber. thank you all for being here. hallie, i want to start with you. we spent yesterday trying to sort through all of these comments from donald trump and his surrogates and mike pence. they're not on the same page. i've been talking to republicans who say, they're concerned about the fact he's trying to set up this as a rigged election. any sense they'll get on the same page today. >> a lot of the concern echoed in my conversations, kristen. i think people, especially in the republican side, members of the elected officials, people who support these folks say this is dangerous. what donald trump saying without evidence and continuing to push this could be hugely problematic come november 9th if he ends up losing. so i think there's a concern and it's evidenced by what you just played. that montage there. donald trump pushing this line that he said it's a rigged election. voters say he's not talking about voter fraud at polling places but that's exactly what donald trump is talking about.
