ashton pellom has the latest on the this, exactly where ises this and what called what caused the fire? >> reporter: bearbear with me as i get the camera straight, it is very dark. officials tell meal this tell me this fire broke out at 2:00 this morning. this is behind a home on bill lynch road. this was used for a workshop and just a storage home. destruction as i look around you can see as i zoom in right there, the machinery that was in here, that appears to be what was a tractor-trailer and another one right beside it, so a lot of damage out here. fire officials tell me there was nobody injured in this fire, no one was injured, it broke out around 2:00. the cause of the fire is still under investigation. they say the homeowner, the owner of the building was asleep at the time of the fire and he didn't hear any of the ordeal, he came out after all was said and done, and it is an elderly man that lives hear, hard of hearing, he didn't hear anything going on. fire officials tell me it was a massive fire, fully involved when they arrived. to get it under control. we'll be out here con

. >> reporter: state attorney jeff ashton saying his investigators put a stop to the criminal prosecution of a suspect once this surveillance video came to light. it was recorded at the tropicana motel back on november 24th. kissimmee officer tiffany hall is seen in the video entering a hotel room where a drug suspect was staying. the only problem, in the charging affidavit, she wrote that the two other officers weren't with her and that she was alone. >> we realized we could not go forward. there was a serious contradiction between the tape and what was testified to, and so the case was dropped at that point. >> reporter: the suspect is now free and clear of the incident. the state attorney's office says the officers involved could also face jail time, even cases that have already been closed with convictions will be reviewed while the three kissimmee >> it's very sad for anyone in law enforcement when there appears to be this kind of contradiction between evidence and what the officer is saying on the stand. >> reporter: as of now, none of the three officers have been charged with a cri

ashton pellom is live with more details, so ashton, has been led to all those officers walking off the job in the first place? >> reporter: hey, good morning, christine. we talk to police sources on the force. one sergeant asked to remain anonymous, he and other officers feel there is a true lack of leadership under police chief larry brown. he was reinstated despite an ongoing investigation by sled. the nature of the investigation officials say majority of the officers quit and others have threatened to leave by monday. that is when brown is supposed to return to his duties. town council members decided the sheriff jay brooks will act as police chief while the department resolves staffing issues. >> we'll be here as long as it takes, a week, a month, a year, we'll make sure the citizens in pageland are safe and their streets are policed the way they want them to. >> a transition to a new day and get officers transitioned back in a format so we can move forward. we had a lot of difficulties in the pass. this too shall pass. >> reporter: right now there are currently five county deputie
