well, 1st of all, from the chinese perspective, the us presence in the asian pacific region, if it is for promoting multilateralism trade and good neighbor. a relations, for example, will always be well kept. china wants to keep the store open to the united states and to all the other countries to promote greater trade and good relations. on the other hand, if the united states ain is to isolate china, to derail china, to set up blocks to a put china aside. first of all, this is a wrong strategy to start with. secondly, it will backfire why? because china is the largest trading lation of almost all the countries in the asian pacific region, including japan, south korea, your name, it. how can any country attempt to exclude the largest trading lation? this will backfire because this will really cause the united states to suffer. the consequences allow me to use one single example. i hope president bite will, will really bring back to the united states some baby formula because you really cannot do things completely or you're wrong. this is a globalized the world. we need to have intern

that just a bit ago trying to feed us support for taiwan and western military presence in the asian pacific as a threat to its national security. what's your opinion on that? well, it certainly is because china wants to make a very important position for itself in its sphere of influence, which is the pacific. it's very much like japan in the 1900 thirty's. except for the fact that china's influence is not so much military, but it's more commercial and diplomatic. so china wants to, to dominate world trade. and it's doing so on land with the belt road initiative, which is continuing to and now with a russia detached from the west, i think it feels like it has a strong barrier on that side. so now it's focusing on the pacific and it doesn't want interference, because after all, it's not, it is building some military bases, or at least there has been talk of that it wants to develop it, diplomatic and commercial influence in these regions which considers its, its own backyard, so that is not going to diminish in any way because china is a power on the rise, and we've had forgot the name of th
