researchers at cedars-sinai looked at 36 younger women. they drank eight ounces of cabernet sauvignon or chardonnay every day or almost a month and then switched to the other type of wine. they saw a difference in the women's drinking red. >> in the red wine, the hormone levels, the estrogen levels decreased while the testosterone levels increased. >> dr. shufeld said it is encouraging news because the change in hormone patterns suggest red wine may prevent the growth of cancer cells. now, the new findings challenge much of the current research on alcohol and breast cancer. one study late last year found women had a 15% increased risk of the disease if they drank three to six drinks a week. >> for taste, i actually prefer white wine. >> they didn't see the same protective effects with white wine but that doesn't mean it ups the cancer risk. >> red wine has red grapes, red seed that goes into the process of making it. that's been found to have phyto chemicals. whereas white wine did not change those. >> reporter: anita brikman, 9news now. >

she died at 2:30 this morning at children's hospital.:30 this morning about an abandoned baby just beyond the white picket fence near the steps of the front door and home. when police arrived they did find a baby girl appearing to be a newborn wrapped in a blanket or a towel. it is not clear if she was wearing any other clothing. the baby was rushed to children's hospital, where she died around 2:30 this morning. still so many questions including what time the baby was dropped off. it does not appear that the folks who live in an home to have any connection to the case. police are still trying to figure out what time the baby was left here and what the condition of the baby was at the time. it is still not clear if the baby was dead here or if she died later at the hospital. she was pronounced dead at around 2:38 at children's hospital. later this morning police will be back here in this northeast neighborhood talking to neighbors to see if anyone knows of a young mother expecting the in the last few days. this baby has died. a tragic si
