atlanta so we did an analysis as of atlanta and we found 500,000 people who live in the southern part of atlanta, a lot of african-americans who were living in periods of destitution. they couldn't get a job and so forth. and i was amazed at how many we took on to help, but we divided up into 20 different groups of 25,000 each, and we found when we went into those poor neighborhoods, which i hadn't been in to before, that the policemen and the welfare workers and health workers, schoolteachers didn't live there. they lived in a nice supported town. they just commuted in and out of the for section. so we decided to organize the atlanta project and it was one of the most interesting things we did because, i wanted to bring together higher education and business as well as government help these very poor people who didn't know how to make a grant application. so we did that and for every 25,000 people we got a major corporation to kind of adopt them. so delta airlines took 25,000, coca-cola, 25,000, and we had a major university do the same thing. so it turned out to be a very good progr

atlanta so we did an analysis as of atlanta and we found 500,000 people who live in the southern part of atlanta, a lot of ant the bureaucrat workers and health workers they just commuted in and out of the section. so we decided to organize the atlanta project. it was one of the most interesting things we did. i wanted to bring together higher education and business as well as others to help these poor people that didn't know how to make out a grant application we did that. for every 25,000 people we got a major corporation to kind of adopt them. delta airlines took 25,000. coca-cola took 25,000, we had a major university co-the same thing. it turned out to be a very good program. we had it for phi years. treated those people like they should have been treated to begin with. i'd say at the end of five year, 16 of them graduated, the other four we helped for several more years. it was an interesting thing to see like delta airlines help people who are very poor and delta airlines realized when they put out a call for flight attendants they would publish in the atlanta constitution news

and not just in atlanta, but a lot of the southern cities too.ow we are starting to see some of those warnings and watches drop back off a little bit. so that is some good news. but look at how much snow has fallen in some of these areas. again, you're looking at some of these totals out of arkansas, oklahoma, even portions of tennessee, as well as georgia. now atlanta ended up picking up officially 2.1in at the airport yesterday. that is a daily record. i know that may not seem like a very high number, but it is for these southern cities. and yes, it's been since 2018 that we've had that much snow in this particular area, leading to a lot of those travel problems and also the power outages as well. when we look at the rest of this system, you'll see the bulk of that moisture is finally starting to push back out over the open atlantic. but you do still have some areas of snow really focused still over the northeast and portions of the mid-atlantic where especially like boston, even areas of hartford, looking at some additional snow showers. also,

in fact, just hovering just slightly above freezing in atlanta. they've had 3 and a half inches of snow on the ground, which is pretty amazing that far south and looks like it's going to be sticking around. 39 degrees for a high in norman. 25 in casper and 23 degrees in fargo. so lot of cold air in place there back out in california. we've got that sea breeze kicking in. the fog has rolled into the bay right now, more than on the way trying to bring some rain here. boy would love to get that going right now. start out your weekend. bone dry out there. offshore winds start to kick back in again also. and as we get into sunday, maybe a little bit of a change may be a little more of a seabreeze north westerly component to the wind in the bay area. and then those winds really go offshore. and that's what we're worried about. possibly on tuesday. there's area of low pressure that's going to rotate off the coastline. maybe some gusty winds as we get towards southern california on tuesday in about the middle of the week. so i'm gonna keep our eyes on. th
