area. you worked at the fbi atlanta office here, former obviously assistant director for counterintelligence at the fbi, so sort of a confluence of your expertise here. and just before i start asking you questions about this area, about where this possibly could have taken place including the fact that there's a medical center in the area, just anything that stands out to you about what you want to let us know about this unfolding situation? >> so yeah, i did do five years working at fbi atlanta as a field agent there, and look, there's good news and not so good news. the good news is the law enforcement community there is easily partnered. it will be a streamline partnership to block this off in grids. it's a methodical process that they're going to undergo with clearing building after building after building. i will say this, i know it's early but yet we've heard an interesting report, right, which is that this may have started at north side hospital or the related medical buildings. look, we know now that hospitals can represent a convergence, almost a perfect storm that's built for this

>> it's an intricate camera network, atlanta is the center of a very large metropolitan area. the great thing is, there's often coordination with law enforcement, even in the city of atlanta itself. in the midtown area, you have the georgia state university police, georgia tech police. atlanta police, georgia state patrol, several different agencies, and when you expand, fulton county sheriff's office. cobb county. we host large events in atlanta like the super bowl, we often coordinate and work together. it doesn't surprise me there was immediate coordination and joint effort because this area is right near the main interstate, 75 to 85, that runs through downtown atlanta. you can jump on easily from that location and head north into cobb county. so it's an intricate, very expansive camera network in and around the city, and also great coordination, constant coordination with law enforcement through the metropolitan area. >> we have been told the press conference has slid a few minutes. we're going to take a quick break. we expect to hear from atlanta police about the capture
