as we look at the high temperatures across the region today in atlantic city we hit 68 degrees.degree shy of the record which was 69. millville 66 degrees today, wilmington 65 and it was also 65 in allentown and reading both theisk allentown we broke the record. for philadelphia we hit 66, way off that record which was 73 degrees set back in 1896. this morning 40 degrees, 4 degrees above that normal low and the record low 16 degrees with your sun setting close to 4:30. the numbers are still not bad as we look north and west. 56 in pottstown, 55 saint davids kennett square 52. levittown 56 and as we head to the south many 50's but they're mixed with a couple 40's like hammonton 47, woodbine 48 degrees the state of delaware in the low 50's and also in the upper 50's still along the shore. here come a few clouds from the west. you can still see some clear skies to the south. there's the frontal boundary with a few showers on the u.s. canadian border and it's really stretching its legs all the way down to the deep south into texas, bumps into some colder air in the central part of t

right now looking at atlantic county, right along ocean city through egg harbor, atlantic city, where you see the yellows and oranges, that shows us heavier rain. pleasantville showing heavier rain, too, and that moves up into parts of ocean county. this is all sliding to the northeast, but that area around washington and baltimore, more moisture, that will start to move in as we go through the next several hours, so we'll be watching for that. the bulk of the moisture has moved up to the north, moving into parts of new york state and that was our heavy rain we saw earlier this morning. now for the rest of the evening we have some periods of rain, some mists, some drizzle in the forecast and even some fog developing. here's future weather. we go into the 9:00 hour, we could see that next round moving up through parts of the lehigh valley and we start to clear up going into tomorrow morning. you will be waking up to cloud cover tomorrow, but later on in the day we'll start to see more sunshine breaking through, so that's good for veterans day. then our next round gets here for thursday

this is where the heaviest rain is right through atlantic city, right through atlantic county there throughumberland county around millville. this is of this band of heavy rain pushing to the south. heavy relative to what's coming down. not that heavy but this is heaviest rain we can find this morning. philadelphia still some light rain coming down, to the north here's that last bit of rain right south of reading already ended in allentown and through upper montgomery and upper bucks county. that's where it is right now. look at the computer forecast. pushing it to the south. so by 12:00 o'clock, we are clearing up there's a little sunshine even that's cooler air coming in so the temperatures will be dropping especially overnight tonight the rain is done. looking a little more sunshine and clearing skies overnight tonight. temperature wise, it's a cool rain, but not freezing. temperatures are just above freezing in allentown up to 38. philadelphia is at 43. maybe a little colder in mount pocono and hazelton but the rain is done there. so watch for little slick spots that roadway still wet.

early sunday morning at the atlantic palace a condominium and hotel complex on the boardwalk in atlantic cityr son's birthday is tomorrow. >> tomorrow. >> she didn't deserve to be taken away the way that she did. >> reporter: police were called to atlantic palace this condominium and hotel complex at new york avenue and the boardwalk about 7:00 a.m. sunday morning. that's where they found the body of a woman in a laundry basket. this hotel guest says he spoke to a security guard who saw the scene. >> she came from the 28th floor all the way down to the bottom of the chute. that's all he told. her dress she had on was all ripped apart. they weren't for sure if it came from her going down the laundry chute or if it was before. >> reporter: the atlantic county prosecutor's office and atlantic city police are investigating the death. an autopsy was performed this morning but authorities have not released the cause of death. some residents and guests including this couple from australia are concerned about the death and the lack of information coming from atlantic palace. >> staying in the hotel a
