as we head into the evening hours, the axis of the heavier showers will be generally along and east of-95. so out toward the shenandoah valley, you may finish the day with a little bit of sunshine. we'll get to tonight, midnight. lingering shower in the mountains but otherwise clearing skies. we start tuesday with sunshine. we finish tuesday with sunshine. and even on wednesday, that looks like a pretty decent day. maybe a patch or two of clouds but otherwise all in all pretty nice weather i think tomorrow, wednesday, thursday, with another chance of showers by the time we get toward friday. so today we'll get temperatures in the low 70s. we've gone with a yellow alert day for the afternoon. i'm worried about the commute home. that may be hampered by some of these showers and thorl. got outdoor -- and thunderstorm. got outdoor plans this afternoon, they may not happen. 73. 50 for the low in town. thursday 72. then there's another chance of showers on friday with dry and pleasant for the weekend. it's 5:47. here comes monika with timesaver traffic. >>> it's just that volume that happens
